Whether it’s for tournaments or just to keep the games interesting, we all could use a game timer. But who wants to buy one from JT for $50??? That’s outrageous!! Yeah it may look better, but I have found a cheap timer that works great. I bought it from Radio Shack. It was about $7. It tells you what time it is, it counts down, and it counts up. Another great thing about this timer is it’s about as big as a silver dollar and it has a sticky back. This is perfect for sticking it on your loader lid. This is a great spot for it because while you are shooting you can see how many minutes are left in the game. You may say to yourself: well this timer doesn’t count how many guys have been eliminated from the game. My response to you is during a tournament, you don’t want to waste valuable time messing with the man counter. Many times the games get confusing and you miscount how many guys are left anyway.
        Another great timer that Radio Shack sells is a talking timer. This timer runs for about $15 to $20. You can program this clock for the length of the game. It fits perfectly on your mask. Once there is one minute left in the game, it speaks and says "one minute." During the last 10 seconds it does a count down.  This is the talking timer:
