If you have an XGS, XGSH or XGS JACKAL and it has a serial number beginning with 200, 300 or 400 (the serial number is located on the left-hand frame, between the safety and the barrel lock), it is possible for the bolt to become separated. If this occurs, the paintball marker will not function. In some instances, the bolt may be expelled from the barrel, presenting a potential safety hazard. Sheridan has instituted a program to correct this potential problem. If you wish to take advantage of this program, please package and ship your XGS, XGSH, or XGS Jackal (remember to unload it and remove the CO₂ cartridge or tank) to the following address:
