A remote is usually one of the first accessories a paintballer buys. The main question is whether to get a coiled hose or a stainless steel hose. The hose to get depends on what type of paintball you play most: woods or
speedball.
If you play mostly speedball then either hose will do. Buying a coiled hose is lighter and easier to move around. The stainless steel hose is a little heavier, more heavy duty, but doesn't have the "spring" capability. If you play woods ball then you will probably want to go with the stainless steel hose. The coiled hoses tend to get caught up in the trees, bushes, and other objects in the woods. The stainless steel hose usually doesn't get tangled in the brush.
Overall, I prefer the Stainless steel lines because they work great in both environments.
