J & J Ceramic Barrel

The search for the ultimate barrel is never ending, however I think I am one step closer in my pursuit. Recently I purchased a J&J ceramic barrel because of a recommendation of a friend. What is supposed to make this barrel stand out from the crowd is the coating on the inside of the barrel. In theory after a ball is broken in the barrel you should be able to keep shooting and the barrel will clean itself. This is no dream of a paintball player it does work, do I think we should all throw away our squeegees? No.  However, when you are in a fire fight and you break a ball there is not always time for a squeegees and this is when the barrel is in its greatest hour. The J&J I have is a bigger bore barrel so small paint like Proball, and Diablo don't work so well. I have found that Nelson and RP Sherr premiums work fine. In my personal opinion I feel that this is one of the great barrels on the market, and If you are shopping for a medium bore barrel this one is worth taking a second look at.
I give it 4 splats out of five.
